    Fat around the stomach is more common in men.It increases the risk of the cardiovascular diseases and also leads to poor posture.Losing the weight from the body also leads to burn fat around the stomach.Limit calorie intake and avoid fat.Include aerobic exercises like jumping,running,swimming,trampoline etc and strengthening exercises like reverse curls,crunches,thrust,swiss ball exercises etc tones the abdominals muscles.Avoid stress,smoking and alcohol intake as all three leads to fat gain in the body.

    A lot of people suggest that cut down on your consumption of animal products like butter, ghee, cottage cheese, milk and turn into a vegan/vegetarian in case you are a non vegetarian.
    There is also an exercise suggested by Baba Ramdev:
    lie down on teh floor or yoga mat and lift your legs and move your legs as if your cycling. After moving in one circular motion, repeat it in the opposite direction as well. Practice this daily at least 50 times is what is been suggested. You can take a break in between after completing lets say 20-25 circular motions.

    Hi Neha,
    To lose weight from the stomach, you need to lose weight from overall body because abdomen is one of the commonest site for excess fat deposition. Start working on reducing the total body fat content, you will automatically see changes in your abdominal area. I will suggest you to do aerobic exercises like walking, jogging, running, cycling, skipping, step aerobics, swimming, dancing etc. Also add some abdominal toning exercises like crunches, planks, swiss ball workout etc. Take care of diet also consume low caloric diet. Try to be active instead of being sedentary because, sedentary lifestyle is one of the biggest cause of obesity in past few years.
