How to lose weight and maintain muscle?

    To reduce weight we need to do lots of cardio exercises like running, jogging, skipping, Swimming, etc. We need to do these exercises atrleast for some 40 min 5 times a week. These kind of exercises help reducing fat percentage by burning more calories. Also it will help to improve our endurance. But only doing cardio will also shed off the lean muscle mass so to maintain the lean muscle mass we need to do resistance training exercises too. Resistance training exercises are like Cruches, Reverse crunches, Squats, Lunges, Push ups, Reverse dips,etc. We need to do these exercises atleast for some 3 min 4/week so as to maintain the muscle mass and improve our body muscle strength too. This type of exercise pattern will help to reduce weight thta is in terms of fat percentage and it will also maintain our lean muscle mass.

    Hi Jason,
    To loose fat best exercises are cardio activities like running, jogging, brisk walking, etc. We need to do these exercises for atleast 45 min per day possibly every day or atleast some 5/week for better fat reduction while you can do more of weight training exercises like lunges, squats, leg raises, leg pushs, crunches, etc would help to tone your body by improving the toning of your body muscles. So this type of exercise plan would help to reduce body fat percentage and keep muscle mass.
