Body fat percentage can be reduced without reducing weight only by doing a combination of resistance and cardio exercises. For males the average percentage of body fat is 13 % and for females its around 20%. So if the body fat percentage is increased then this level, it is considered high body fat percentage Cardio exercises includes cardio activities like Swimming, Jogging, Running, Skipping, etc. We need to do these exercises atleast 5/week for 40 min. And resistance exercises includes Squats ,crunches, Push ups, Rowing, Lat pull, etc. We need to do these exercises atleast for 30 min 3/ week so as to get a better results. In this kind of exercise plan, we will reduce the fat percentage and will replace same amount of muscles mass and will get a better shape to our body so as we dont reduce our weight.

    Hi Niharika,
Cardio exercises works best for the peoples who just want to target weight loss. But studies has shown that doing only cardio for more than 45 min would lead to muscle burn so its better that we also include some amount of weight training exercises too. This type of exercises plan would help to burn calories and at a same time it would tone your muscles.
