How to improve metabolism?

I seriously need to improve my metabolism, it's so random and unpredictable. Sometimes I eat all-you-can-eat dinner at 9 pm and lose it all on the next morning, but other times I just eat 1 pasty for the whole day and still gain weight. In dieting I tend to opt for fresh produce, not too much on processed food, and I've been doing this for years. But still, it's so difficult to lose weight. Any advice?

    Hi

In 130 gm of pasty contains approximately 480-520 calories & 30-33 gm of fat which is high calories & fat. Normally a person needs 15-20gm of fat in a day, you having more than that, thats why you able to manage but it is not healthy to like this & it is not healthy eating habits.

One should eat 4-5 small meals with plenty of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and green leafy vegetables. Drink plenty of water to increase ur metabolism- 2.5-3 liters in a day, especially drink warm water with lemon without sugar, honey & salt in the morning to improves ur digestion, metabolism & cleans ur stomach from toxin. Green tea is very good for weight loss, to improve ur metabolism as well. Choose healthy snacks with very less fat to maintain ur metabolism. Reduce coffee & tea intake. Avoid junk foods, fatty foods, bakery foods. More important exercise- do any cardio exercise like running, brisk walk, skipping, swimming, etc. Do any exercise for weight loss- 30-45 mins in a day & 5-6 days in a week.

Hope above points help you to increase ur metabolism & help you to lose weight.

    Hi Eatlover,
I would suggest to include some 2 days of weight training exercises in your routine. Studies have showed that a unit of muscle mass burns more calories and improves BMR. So include weight training exercises like lunges, squats, push ups, etc.
