Yep – it’s definitely the most exasperating thing that can happen to a dieter. Weeks or months into a diet, your weighing machine needle suddenly seems to be stuck even though you sincerely and diligently follow your diet plan. You’ve been hit by the dreaded weight loss plateau. There are ways to get over it. For one, increase the intensity of your exercise routine slightly; say from 30 minutes to 40 minutes. Try and build more muscles as they burn fat faster. Do not intensify your diet. It will cut back on your energy levels and slow down your metabolism. So continue to follow your diet plan, but keep a calorie dairy so that you remain focused.
