Exercises are the key to burn calories. To loose weight, you need to do lots of weight training exercises like crunches, lunges, squats, reverse crunches, heel touch, etc. We need to do more of cardio exercises like running, jogging, brisk walking, swimming, etc for atleast some 45 min , 5/week for better results. Weight training exercises are more for toning your tummy muscles. You need to have a combination of exercises along with low calorie diet and avoid any junk food like burgers, pizza, passta, etc. These food items are more likely to increase your fat content in body.
