the best way of building muscle and losing fat at the same time is by doing anaerobic exercises , its a very good way of converting the extra fat in muscle. it involves activity like hill climbing , weight lifting , strength training, skipping. besides that doing any other physical activity would have a similar effect bt the rate would vary. also you would need to get rid of all the unwanted carb from ur diet , avoid potatoes , banana , sweets,, fried foods . and eat healthy protein foods like egg white, milk , panner , lean meats .

    Hi Chinmay,
To reduce fat and build muscles you need to of more of cardio training exercises like running, swimming, jogging, brisk walking, etc. You need to do these exercises for atleast some 45 min daily or minimum 5/week for better results. This type of exercises will help you to reduce your body fat, Include weight training exercises like lunges, squats, push ups, crunches, reverse crunches, etc. We need to do these exercises so as to tone up your body and so these exercises every alternate days for 15 min.
