I completely agree with you deepti. That also depends upon your activity level.Basically you should try to reduce 500 calories daily to lose weight.

Generally one should reduce 500 calories from present intake. But if you looking for healthy weight loss then you should go for 1200-1400 calorie sin a day with exercise & life style modification.
