Every new year millions of people resolution to get rid of belly fat, but there effort to lose belly fat is always insufficient to get the desired result.Many fall in pray to myths like spot reduction and the specific muscle training, which are all bogus. Couple of exercises which are efficacious for the belly contours, starts with the basic crunches. Crunches can be performed in the various forms hands behind head, long arm and hands on chest. They target the upper and middle abs. Bicycle abs, reverse crunches, hip thrust with or without exercise; leg raises at varying angles make the lower abs workout. Horizontal planks, side planks and modified planks works on your core as well as abs muscles. In advanced stages, exercises on the bench, Swiss ball and on bosu ball can be performed.
