    Liquid diets can be a double edge sword. While it may work in the short run and you will certainly lose weight, your body might not get the required energy to function properly. When you are on a liquid diet such as juice diet, there is significantly much less fat intake and therefore the existing fat is burned by the body. However, beyond a point a liquid diet will not work. When you are on a liquid diet, you have to eat certain amount of solid food as well. This is the only way that you will be able to prevent acidity built up in the stomach.

    Hey Pranita,
    I completely agree with Naha, liquid diet is not at recommended as it doesn't have good long term effects. You may get good result initially, but soon you will see a weight loss plateau and many other complications. I will advise you to go for healthy low caloric diet, regular exercises and active lifestyle to lose weight in a healthy way.

    Hi Pranita,
    Exercises are the key to burn calories. To loose weight, you need to do lots of weight training exercises like crunches, lunges, squats, reverse crunches, heel touch, etc. We need to do more of cardio exercises like running, jogging, brisk walking, swimming, etc for atleast some 45 min , 5/week for better results. Weight training exercises are more for toning your tummy muscles. You need to have a combination of exercises along with low calorie diet and avoid any junk food like burgers, pizza, passta, etc. These food items are more likely to increase your fat content in body.
