The Gujarati diet consists of foods that are exceptionally sweet, spicy and salty. The Gujarathi people have a very sweet tooth and all their foods will end up having a sweet touch even their pickles. Its best not to follow the Gujarati diet if you want to shed all those unwanted pounds from your body. Fried foods, sweet foods and salty foods are not going to help you lose weight. Learn to eat healthy with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables included in your diet not that contain loads of ghee or oil. Even their curries are tempered with spices and clarified butter which is definitely not good for your waistline.
