Hey, it would be better not to start an 11-year old on a strict weight loss exercise regimen. Resistance training and strengthening exercises at high intensity are definitely not recommended for kids. However, if the child needs to lose weight, make sure to include at least a 30-minute exercise routine into his day. Only don't call it exercise - call it play time. Let the child play football, cricket, badminton and other sports during this time. Put him in a swimming class. Biking is a great way to make all the excess fat melt away.
