Yes moong dal will helpful for weight lose because it contains complex carbs (fiber) & also rich in protein as wel as excellent source of molybdenum , folic acid and low in fat .Fiber in moong dal will help u to maintain cholesterol & weight loss. You can take in form of sprouts , soups, plain dal, etc.

Neha given useful information. Moong dal can take in the steamed form also. Moong is excellent source of protein , good amount of fibers which helps in weight loss.
