Does fasting help you lose weight?

    Fasting does not helps in loosing weight.It may be just too temporary and as you tend to resume to normal food you tend to gain back the weight.During fasting,the basal metabolic rate of your body tends to reduce.This is body's mechanism to restore the energy.As the BMR reduces your ability to loose weight also reduces,and the body tends to store more energy.

    Ruchi is right, Fating with any fruits or juice fasting or only salad fasting can help you to reduce weight. Make sure you should include proper diet foods with proper timings. Without foods fasting is not help you to reduce the weight because during ur body tends to store fat for energy where this increase ur weight. Thus better to don't do fasting.
