there is no fixed answer to this question. The amount to which a person can lose weigh per day depends on the kind of the life style that the person is leading. If you tend to increase the amount of your calorie lose then you will have to do a lot of exercise. Not only doing exercise will do you will have to keep a lot of restriction on your food style. You will have to avoid the oil based food products and high carbohydrate products. This will control the fat accumulation n your body.

The calories are calculated depends on age, sex, activity, ht & wt. 1200-1500 calories is advisable for adult to maintain health. Any diet plan that should be balanced should contains all essential nutrients.
