Big hips and squats.

I know that there is no such thing as spot reduction. But I have been told contradictory things about doing squats. I need to lose weight on the lower body...so do squats do more harm than good? What are the other exercises to tone the hips?

    cycling and walking are the best for reducing the hips. you can also try leg raises and leg lifts.

    I have a lot of weight near my thighs and belly...any one recommend me some good exercise,i do walking 30 mins and cycling for 20 mins.
