avoid foods while on weight loss plan

My weight is 75 kg, height : 5"4, waist-35
I want to loose my weight atleast 10 kg in 3-4 months
Now I have joined a gym also and running 3 km daily in the morning.............I just want to know wheather I should take below food items or not.

1. Rice & Corn ( I am very fond of these items for years)
2. chole & rajma (home made & outside)
3. kadi (home made)
4. chicken-roasted
5. Omlette-2-3 times in month

I started taking lemon water (4-5 times in a day)
I started taking lemon tea but it doesn't suit me (gives me feeling of heavyness in stomach) does it happen ?.......may be because I take tea (normal) occasionaly :)

Regards,

Amit Joshi

    @Amit
You can have double heated rice( Heat the rice twice after cooking), the starch becomes resistant and acts like fiber. Have Steamed corn once or twice a month.
*Try to avoid Rajma and chole.
    *You can have Kadi
*Roasted or Grilled chicken once or twice a month.
    * You can Egg white omellete 2-3 times a month.
    * Yes you can have lemon water but don't have with salt, avoid having lemon with tea.

very very thanks Aparupa for such a fast reply

Double heated rice:- means we need to put cooked rice's cooker on tawa twice after cooking or you are saying we can heat them separately in another pan after they cooked (many times I eat rice after 1-2 hours of their preparation, in that case should I need to heat them twice ?)

what does salt harm (4-5 times in a day with lemon water)

    @ Amit
Cook the rice and bring to room tempt. Reheat in microwave or iron kadhai. Too much of salt will lead to water retention in your body.

thank you so much for guiding me.

    * If I run regularly (3-4 km per day) will my body dispose (flush out) the excessive salt as a form of sweat.

    * I sweat much than normal (compare to others), while doing workout, most of the times on nose. Is it good to sweat much......btw I get ill occasionally (once in a 5 yrs or so) means I don't have any physical problem (except my tummy) Do I need to worry about this sweating problem then ?

    * are there any side effect of drinking excessive amount of water (10-12 ltrs in a day)

@ Amit as you are telling that you sweat more than a normal person so you don't have to worry about small salt intakes and because of your profuse sweating your water requirement is more but be careful excess of water can lead to hyponatremia. On an average a person should take 4-6 litres of water per day.

thanks Shikha for your valuble suggestions

But I read that hyponatremia cause is: consuming excessive water during exercise.

I have also heard that water is the only thing which has nothing to do with calories & it doesn't make any harm to your body.....lot of people suggest to take as much as water in a single day to make your body fit.........

    will you please clarify ?

@ Amit......... excess water intake leads to extra burden on kidney and heart because ingesting more water than you need can increase your total blood volume which in turn burdens your heart and blood vessels.

Your kidneys must work overtime to filter excess water out of your blood circulatory system to maintain the mineral balance in your body.

As your blood circulatory system becomes diluted with excess water, the concentration of electrolytes in your blood will drop relative to the concentration of electrolytes in your cells. In an effort to maintain an equal balance of electrolytes between your blood and your cells, water will seep into your cells from your blood, causing your cells to swell. If this swelling occurs in your brain, the bones that make up your skull hardly budge hence it may lead to mild headache or sometimes even impaired breathing .For an average person it is little difficult to even notice all these symptoms.
So keep in mind that moderation is the key for everything.

amazing.............excess of everything is bad...............even if it is water.............thanks for giving your valuable time.
But one thing I realised that deeper you dig the field of health more you get confused :)

A man is alive without food and water for last 65 yrs but a normal person need a balance diet for healthy living.......

anyway once again thanks for sharing knowledge.
