Yes low fat diets are very healthy. It has many benefits-* It helps in reducing and maintaining weight,* It helps in lowering cholesterol and keeps away from cardiovascular diseases and lowers blood pressure.*Low fat diet also help in reducing the risk of cancers and other diseases.Low fat diet mean your diet should be less in saturated and trans fats. Saturated fats are present in full cream milk and milk products, butter, ghee, cheese, mayonese, red meat etc.You can have unsaturated fats those are good fats.

    Hi Nishthha

I agree with nancy. Low fat diet means which include plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, green leafy vegetables. you will get good amount of fibers, vitamins, minerals & protein but fat will be less. Fat is also important to maintain our health. So choose healthier fat such as omega3 fat foods like fish, almonds, walnuts, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, etc. One who health then use 3-4 tsp or 500ml per month per person. Who is overweight or board-line over weight should take only 3 tsp per day or 400-450ml per day.
