That depends on the kind of workout that you're gonna be doing. There are many types of exercises when it comes to workouts, and there are impact oriented exercises and non impact oriented ones. Any exercise, when done regularly everyday without fail will have its effects, so all you need to do is come up with a good regimen or routine that can help you lose weight over a period of time. You can try aerobics and other intense exercises, because the more intense the workout is, the more easily you can lose weight. You can also do some cardio workouts and try your hand with weights.

To begin with 10 minutes and 3 days a week at least, is not at all a bad idea. You can aim for 7 days a week and 30 minutes daily exercise first but if you are a beginner then this time is fine. However you need to make sure that you keep increasing the timing for 5-5 minutes and sometimes 4 days a week sometimes 3 and then 5.. gradually so on and so forth. Plan it in advance so that you know what to do ahead.

    Hey Lehar,
10 min of workout 3 times a day is a good idea for peoples who are too much busy in their life. But this 10 min of workout should be vigorous enough to elevate your heart rate to maximum level.
