There are several side effects in a one meal a day weight loss plan. Actually this type of weight loss plan has more side effects than benefits. Eating a steady and regulated diet is the best way to lose weight and starving on a one meal a day program will not get you anywhere. There is a misconception that eating one meal a day will help you lose weight naturally. Your body requires stamina and energy and for this you have to eat properly. Eating 5 small meals a day is much better for you than eating one heavy meal a day.

Very true. Eating one meal a day is not at all healthy. You can follow this diet for day or two, but don't follow for a longer period of time. Going for a very low calorie will result in slow metabolic rate. As result even if you are not eating eating anything, you wouldn't lose weight. Divide your entire meal into small frequent meals.
