milk , nuts and tofu are all excellent vegetarian sources of protein. If you are not fond of animal sources , than you dont have to worry about your protein intake if you are regular on the above mentioned items. tofu and soyabean are the best plant protein available. where as milk provides not only protein bt other vital nutrients like calcium, riboflavin. and nuts are good source of protein and essential acids.
as you are a nutritionist yourself , please watch out for any protein deficiency symptoms like hair fall, or pale n dull skin, brittle nails , over all energy levels and enthusiasm. in case if you see any of these symptom, increase your intake of protein. but ideally if you have around 50gms of protein every day (this is general , please calulate your actual requirement by multiplying 0.5 - 1 gms protein per kg body weight, depending on your activity level.) then it should be suffiecient. have atleast 2 glasses of milk every day. you can also incorporate curd in yopur meals.
besides this even pulses and legumes can be incorporated in your meal. egg whites too (if you like them)
