Gaining weight takes time as its a long process to go converting your food into fat and muscular mass. So we need to keep patience and start doing some of the following things like:
    1. Never ever skip your breakfast as its the most important meal of your day as it provides your body with good amount of fuel.
    2. If you think exercising will reduce your weight even more than now then you are on the wrong track. It solely depends on the type of exercise you do like exercising for an extended period of time will reduce your weight while doing less counts with heavy weight will lead to help building your muscle mass in body .Avoid any cardiovascular activities as it will again reduce your body fat percentage .
    3. Eat more of carbs i your diet and include hand full of dry fruits in your diet to improve your calorie consumption. Also as our weight increment also includes improving muscle mass so our diet need to include good amount of protein food like dal, grains, etc.
    4. Dont waste energy unnecessarily and try to reserve energy as much as possible.
    5. If you love hitting gym and exerciser then you can for a sure do that and is a good idea to start your workout as you will be motivated watching others exercise.

exercising is a good way of gaoining some good weight, mosty of the time ppl think that exercise is good for weight loss, bt they dun really link it to weight gain , which is wrong , you must exercise , and eat a good high protein + carb snack before and after your workour, having protein shakes post exercise is alos a gud way of gaining some muscle. start your day with egg nogs, if you are a vegetarian , you can keep skimmed milk powder, and mix it with all food itemms possible , like you can mix it in your glass of milk or mix it to you dough, or to a veggie. it does not increase the quntity of food, but definately increase the nutritional quality and protein content of the food.

    Hi Avantika,
Weight gaining for some peoples is a so easy and for some its a hard task. Our body responses are different towards different exercises and diet. You must have noticed that some lean peoples though eating lots of ghee and calorie rich diet, they wont show anything on weighting scale. I would suggest you to go for increase in your muscle mass. Consume protein shake and hit every alternate days with a hard core weight training exercises. Protein would help to improve healing and recovery of muscle mass and combining it with weight training exercises, it would help you to increase your muscle mass and thus weight.
