having 2-3 glasses of milk every day with a teaspoon of ghee and a banana with each glass helps in weight gain. eating an egg each day is also beneficial for the same.

I agree Olivia..milk with banana is a good food to gain weight. Make sure that the milk is whole cream one. You can also add nuts,dry fruits,fruits like chikoo,mango and litchi,vegetables like potatoes,white rice,whole fat dairy products,animal foods,to increase your weight.
Hey Malvika, Gaining weight only by eating is not a healthy way to gain weight, as by doing this if at all you gain weight it will be due to fat mass. Best way is to focus on both fat mass as well as lean body mass. Apart from focusing only on diet go for some resistance training as this will help you in increasing lean body mass.
