In order to quit smoking ensure peer and family support in form of constant guidance and mental support. Whenever you feel the craving towards smoking just try and eat something that is pleasurable and sweet like fruits, dates, chewing gums, cucumber and carrot sticks, etc. and divert your mind towards work. You may not be able to quit smoking all to gather initially, so first reduce the frequency and then gradually try and quit it completely. Don't give up if you fail once or twice. Tell yourself that all good habits seem difficult at first but once you stay determined to adopt them, they do you a great deal of good.
