How many grams of nicotine present in a cigarette?

    One cigarette has 0.7 mg of nicotine. There are some light/mild cigarettes too which have 0.1mg per cigarette.

    An average regular size cigarette contains 9-10 mg of nicotine. But, the amount of nicotine inhaled by the person with such cigarette is around 1 mg. The quantity of nicotine and tobacco varies according to the size and the dosage of cigarette.
