no weight loss in pregnancy is not normal . rather a women who is healthy enoiugh to rare a child gains around 10 - 12 kg weight in the entire pregnancy term. in case if the women loses weight , it can be either dure to low blood levels, it is a sign of malnourishment for both the fetus and the would be mother. hence it is best to consult a doctor at the earlies. and eat a lot of healthy food stuff. by healthy we dont mean that start having a lot of ghee or fried food, but the right amount of nutrition must be provided or else it might lead to complications in pregnancy.
