I agree with you Malvika. One should not be in a hurry to loose pregnancy weight. As its not possible for you to exercise within a short time after delivery, so its advisable that you keep a check on your diet. Dont cut on calories as you need more for breast feeding your child. So just choose healthier options that give you the optimum energy and other nutrients too. Have whole grain cereals,whole pulses,chose from low fat dairy products,have egg white,chicken and fish instead of the red meat and organ meat. Avoid junk foods,cold drinks and alcohol. Include more of fresh fruits,salads in your diet.
Enjoy this period of your life instead of worrying about your weight. It will gradually come down.
