Its better not to loose weight during pregnancy because one needs to understand it is a natural process and try not to go against the nature. Its is fine if you lose weight initially in the first trimester the reason being morning sickness and nausea which kills appetite and hence hunger for foods. But that is okay, what is not okay is women who intentionally want to lose weight and cut down on calorie intake.
What women can do is exercise during pregnancy such as walking, swimming and low impact aerobic exercises. These exercises are not for losing weight though.

    Hi

I agree with manasi & lifemojo expert , Try to maintain your intake & include more of healthy foods(salads, fruits , veg juices, soups, veg curry , lean meat , egg white once in month whole egg , skinless chicken, green leafy vegetables, whole grains , dals, cereals, etc).General weight gain should be- 1.8 kg(2-4 pounds) in the first 3 months of pregnancy. After that 1 pounds should increase in the each of month.
Moderate exercise like walk & after 8month do some pregnancy exercise .
