Many women develop food aversions during pregnancy, they just dun feel like eating , or have nausea or vomiting sensation after intake of food, this leads to malnourishment, and underdevelopment of the fetus. .. in such a case, dry carbs suit best. try having a piece of wheat rusk or even a whole wheat bread toast .. or multigrain cookies, oatmeal cookies, the intake of these items will help avoid the vomiting sensation in the morning hours.

Absorption of the intaken nutrient is another important issue, so make sure you have it in the right combination, ex - iron a very essential nutrient during pregnancy,is best absorbed in an acidic medium so make sure you add tomatoes to the green leafy vegetables you eat. incase if you are taking any iron supplementation pills, thn make sure you take it with lime water. this will ensure its absorption in your body.

Breathing Exercises and Meditation calms down the mind. it helps to develop a positive attitude and builds up patience n courage which is necessary for dealing with pregnancy. Few of the Pranayam which can be practiced during pregnancy improves oxygen supply to the baby in the womb.

Exercise during pregnancy can increase your sense of control and boost your energy level. Not only does it make you feel better by releasing endorphins (naturally occurring chemicals in your brain), appropriate exercise can also:

    * relieve you from backaches and improve your posture by strengthening and toning muscles in your back, butt, and thighs
    * reduce constipation by accelerating movement in your intestine
    * prevent wear and tear on your joints (which become loosened during pregnancy due to normal hormonal changes) by activating the lubricating fluid in your joints
    * help you sleep better by relieving the stress and anxiety that might make you restless at night

I have heard that Lamaze breathing techniques also help a lot, especially in normal delivery. One should attend Lamaze classes from fifth month of pregnancy onwards.
