    Estrogens are the female hormones that are responsible for the array of things. Any women going through menopause knows how harsh low estrogen levels can be. Here is the list of estrogen foods that any woman should completely try to avoid during the stages of pregnancy.
    • Soy products:, tofu, soy milk and other soy milk products all play their role in increasing estrogen levels.
    • Spear mint flavored tea
    • sweet potatoes, Yams, cassava.
    • Flax: flax seeds usually have a lot of phytoestrogens. It should be had with lots of water to reduce blockage.

    During pregnancy following estrogenic foods should be avoided:
    *Soy
    *Non organic meat: Avoid all meat that is not organic, including chicken, turkey, lamb, red meat and pork. These foods contain estrogen hormones in non-organic feed fed to the animals.
    *Sugar & yeast: Too much of either substance can cause insulin resistance along with an imbalance of estrogen and progesterone.
    *Alcohol: It both increases estrogen levels and shuts off your body's defenses, causing your body to suffer an imbalance.
    *Non organic produce: The non-organic varieties often have petroleum-based pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers in them.
    *Non organic dairy: All dairy products that are not organic contain estrogen and prolactin hormones.
    *Licorice & clover: They are very estrogenic in any form.
    *Food packed in plastic: Avoid edible products that are either packed in plastic or smell like plastic.
