Pregnant women should eat 1-2 mangoes because it is rich in calcium and magnesium, which prevents abortion, relaxes the muscles and relieves stress. It also fulfills the need of iron and calcium and provides abundant vitamins like A, C and minerals needed. It contains around 135 calories and some amount of proteins.
Drinking mango juice once or twice in a week prevents from fetal abnormalities and eases child birth. It also prevents post partum complications. It also remains helpful in preventing acidity and indigestion.
Too much mangoes should be avoided if you are not eating lot many mangoes right from childhood.
