Learn to Cooperate with your teacher. Let's be honest, teachers can be a pain. If you and your teachers(s) don't have a good relationship, try to improve it. Learn what she likes in a student and what makes her happy. Keep a track of your progress your grades and your participation in class. These things count for your personal growth too. If you know your progress, it will boost your confidence and hence motivate you to study more. Stay firm. If your friends ask to hang out when you have homework to do, stay home and do the work. It's better that way. Sometimes you should learn to say NO. Give yourself rewards after completing a particular task like one subject for that week or so. Make your studies fun at times and then try to learn them or rather remember them. Make a tune for the poems may be some current songs music that you like and then try to recall the poem. Say it loud or read out what you have learnt to your friends or your mother so that you will remember your own words when you write during examinations. Say a prayer before you sit to study and make it a routine. Get your favorite set of pens or pencils and select a calm and quite place and remove all the distractions from you.

It is not necessary to open your books for gaining knowledge. Today's generation is so lucky that they have so much of exposure from not only Television channels that have increased from before but also one can gain information from the internet. Its easily accessible to everyone and plus along with the written information it also has pictures and videos to support the information. There is an additional information that a student can get from these kind of sources if you are tired of your textbooks and guides. Do not take studies in a literal form and create tension. Make it fun and exciting. Something that you look forward to. This can be surely motivating for one to study.

    Hi

I agree with manasi, Encourage them by giving some gifts. Allow them free, don't force them to do that , this more oftely. Try to talk as friend with them & motivate about studies or any kind things.
