2 year old son not eating

My son has been a very bad eater since he was 6 months old. At times we feel he is hungry and is cranky too but still will not have food. It is really frustrating. He is only on liquid diet. Can anybody suggest what kind of food i should try to give my child which will help to increase his weight? Also is this a common problem among children?

Don't worry all children at this age do this. When I had the same problem I stopped all liquid. When he was very hungry, only option he had was solid food.

You can also try some meal replacement like mix about half a bottle with a banana and some frozen berries and blend it all up.

If you are making a dish which consists of a proper meal, but possible that your child doesn't like it, then make a side dish which he really likes. Give him food in small servings but may be at frequent intervals than giving him the whole meal at one time. May be he doesn't like that whole quantity of meal in front of him. Show them when you are preparing food for him. Ask him to help you garnish the dish with whatever is manageable by him. This will give a sense of satisfaction that he is going to eat something that he has made himself and make it look as colorful as possible. Make it attractive for children. ALL THE BEST !!
