Decide on what your desired weight loss should be. Its important to have the figures in front of you as your goal. Make sure while setting goals, they should look realistic and practical as well, keeping in mind of your medical conditions if any, allergies, likes and dislikes. As you reach your goals, you can then raise your standards and climb up as you go. You don't have to deny for everything that you like eating. Its the matter of eating the same food in a lesser quantity and moderation. Imagine of how much better you would feel and not only look good after losing those pounds. Buy that dress you always wanted to wear, but you did not not buy because you could not fit in it. That piece of cloth can act as a motivation. Find a buddy or any of your family member who also shares the same wish. Having a company will boost your confidence and a sense of belongingness.

Reasoning your motives and purposes is very very important no matter what you do. If you know why you are doing a particular thing, it will be easier for you to to take steps accordingly and you can be a good planner too. If you are confident about doing dieting for weight loss or any other reason, you are bound to work hard and stay motivated always, because of your clarity of thoughts. Setting deadlines will work and reward yourself on accomplishing those small small tasks while losing diet.
