    What you can do is when you order food from outside, since there is no control over the size of the dish, try to share it with your friend. Order steamed, baked or grilled food items instead of roasted or fried ones. Try to order salads along with your main dish too.

    I agree with manasi . Simple point, read the menu carefully & choose the foods which is healthy & low calorie. Avoid too salty foods. Instead ordering rich desserts better choose fruit chat or fruit based desserts. Avoid creamy soups.
