Practice deep breathing techniques to have a control over your breadth. This will help you relax your body and mind both. Go to a quiet location and try meditation. Clear your head and concentrate on your breathing to relax your muscles. Trying repeating a meaningful phrase quietly as a point of focus, for ex: OM, Gayatri mantra, or any positive sentence that I am the Best. Don't keep everything bottled up, as this will only increase your anxiety and stress. Talk it out in front of your friends and family who support you and who can understand you as a person. Do some aerobic exercises like Walking, Jogging, Cycling, and even dancing etc. This will not only help you remain fit and healthy but will also help as a distraction.

Identify the triggers, causes and symptoms of anxiety so that they will help you take the next step in resolving the matter.
    - Choose a place to worry and take tension. Spend 20-30 minutes in that place thinking about all the complications and negative thoughts. Make an association with that place and then do not carry that baggage anywhere else.
    - Avoid alcohol and drug abuse because in the long run they will worsen the anxiety disorder.
    - Sleep is very important. Get at least 7-9 hours of good sound sleep.
    - In case the problem is getting too intense and out of control, Please consult your doctor or a psychiatrist.

When you are in the throes of an anxiety attack, you are likely to find it difficult to breathe. When this happens, you should not gasp for air. Instead, you should breathe slowly and deeply.Inhale as much air as you can until your chest pops out and count one to seven whilst you do. At the count of seven, slowly exhale and count from one to 11 as you do so. This will calm you down considerably.

You can make your anxiety attack more terrifying if you focus too much on it. Instead of focusing on your panic attack, try to divert your attention somewhere else. You can force yourself to watch television or listen to music when you start feeling a panic attack come over you. You can also ask someone to talk to you, and you can concentrate on his or her voice whilst you are having an episode.
