How much to sleep?

    Studies show that one needs 7 to 8 hours of good sound sleep for the body and mind to come to the rest. It is important to feel fresh once you wake up in the morning. Hence it also depends from person to person, one may sleep only for 6 hours and still feel teh energy in the morning and may require full 8 hours of sleep.

    Yes one should sleep at least for 7-9 hours in order to to give your body and mind both some rest that is required for wear and tear of tissues.

    I agree with Anuja, that we need 7-8 hours of sleep to recover from all the stress i.e physical as well as mental. But in case you can not make out sufficient time to sleep, make sure that you take at least 6 hours of continuous sleep.
