    For constipation inculde more of fiber foods - vegetables , green leafy vegetables, fruits..........The vegetables rich in fiber include turnip, lady's finger, radish, beans, cabbage, cucumber, potato, corn, broccoli, peas, carrot, onion, tomato, green pepper, bitter gourd, asparagus, brinjal, beetroot, sprouts, leafy greens and cauliflower. Fruits rich in fiber include avocado, guava, apricot, fig, date, gooseberry, mango, orange, pear, wood apple, jamun, papaya, pomegranate, plum, peach, kiwi fruit and grapes. So they constitute nice range of A fiber-rich diet for constipation.................Fibre rich legumes include kidney beans (rajma), black beans, all pulses, black-eyed peas and split peas. Peanuts, almonds, sunflower and sesame seeds, chestnuts and dried coconuts are also rich in fibre. Fiber rich cereals include oats, maize, barley, jowar, bajra, whole wheat and rice So they must also be included to your eating habits.....Increase water intake atleast 10 - 12glass or 2-3litre of water per day .. .........
    Reduce the refined products like maida,etc.

    Sujeetha suggestion were quite excellent but she did not add the most important thing; METHODOLOGY. That is how to go about it.
    With regard to water, drink about 500ml first thing in the morning. The temperature is also important, cold water is not good, warm to lukewarm is relevant for starters.
    2. Drink ordinary temperature water 30 to 45 minutes BEFORE any major meal during the day (NOT DURING OR AFTER MEAL)
    3. If you cannot achieve the 3 to 4.5 litres mentioned supplement whatever level you attain with natural fruit drinks of the numerous fruits she mentioned (DO NOT USE PROCESSED, CANNED OR ANYTHING ELSE IN THE NAME OF FRUIT DRINK)
    4. Take note that you have to start slowly move gently towards the 4.5 litres mark
    5. Whilst going thruough the motion listen to your body to tell you the exact quantity of water it needed (4.5 litres is just standard,some might need more or less than that.
