Turmeric for skin.

I have heard that applying too much of turmeric on face may lead to yellowish colouration of skin. Is that true?

    Hi

Benefits for skin: Turmeric is a very effective remedy for skin disorders like spots, acne, dryness or discoloration. Mix turmeric into your face cream and apply on problem areas. It can be used in combination with sandalwood, and milk as a rejuvenating face pack that helps to improve the complexion when used regularly. In case of smallpox and chickenpox, turmeric is applied as a powder or as a paste to facilitate the process of scabbing.
