my hair gets oily very quickly. the day i get an hair wash ..it is normal but the nexy day after my wash .. it gets very oily.so except for 2 or 3 days a week i have to wash my hair regularly. and plus the dandruff problem also arises during winters .. for which i apply curd ..it gets better with it..but that is not a permanent solution.. how can i get rid off the oilyness.. is it okay to wash your hairs regularly.

For oily hair use plain amla powder as a hair wash or Triphala powder (plain), a classical Ayurvedic preparation can also be used.Make a paste of either of these powders, apply it on the scalp, retain it for 20-30 minutes and wash with cold water as and when your hair gets oily. There is no harm if you wash your hair regularly because of its natural trait. For the dandruff, especially during winters, soak scalp in lukewarm sesame oil for an hour and wash hair with luke warm water. Use shikakai to wash hair.

@ rashi , hi ... actually i too have a similar problem .. i was told to apply shampoo 3 times in the same wash .. eg .. apply thn wash .. thn re apply thn wash .. and do it for the third time as well ... and trust me it worked .... also after washing ur hair .. dunt tie them too tightly .... the tighter you tie them .. more is the oil secretion .. so tie them losely ... specially while sleeping in the nite ... hope it helps u .. as it helped me !!

    Hi

Apply methi paste on the scalp & allow it for 20 mins & wash it with mild shampoo. This is more effective for dandruff. Wash ur hair at-least for 3 times in a week to reduce the oily in the hair.
