How to take care for dry skin at home?

    To take care of dry skin you should follow some tips given below-
    *First of all try to consume lot of fresh fruits and vegetables which are rich in Vit A,B and Vit C which are very good for your skin.Try to avoid fried junk,oily foods.Eat a well balanced diet rich in protein and minerals will help to prevent dry skin.
    *Drink plenty of water which helps to nourish skin and helps in preventing the dry skin at least drink 2-3 liters water per day.
    *Don't use strong and harsh face washes and even soap as they damage your skin by removing the natural oil which helps to protect the skin and make it dry.Use gentle and moisturizer base face wash and soap.
    *Try to take bath with luke warm water as using warm water for bath helps in removing the moisture and make the skin dry.
    *Apply moisturizer on the kin whenever you wash your face.It helps to keep your skin soft and prevents it from being dry.\a# Protect your skin from sun and pollution. Use a proper sunscreen lotion.
    *Try to avoid excessive smoking,and intake of alcohol and caffeine as it helps to dehydrate the skin.
    *You can also apply rose water with honey in it.You can apply it on face and where on the other parts as well keep it for 10-15 min and then wash it with water
    *One of the effective method is to massage with coconut or olive oil ,it is very helpful for treating dry skin.
    * Always apply sunscreen lotion when ever you go out as sun rays,dust and pollution result to make skin dry.

    Instead of using soaps and body wash, try using oatmeal flour instead but putting it in a tea bag and use it while bathing.
    - Combine an egg yolk with a tablespoon of mayonnaise or yogurt and and another tablespoon of honey and apply the paste.
    - Certain herb teas work as in internal remedy for dry skin.
