*Dark circles may often appear as a result of lack of proper sleep and rest.Many times due to over stress or strain and at the same time,inadequate rest may reflect on your face,making it more dull and pale.Thus to avoid it you should atleast take proper rest and sleep for atleast 7-8 hours in a day.
*Dark circles beneath the eyes may even appear as a result of some nutrient deficiency.Check your diet in terms of essential nutrients specially iron,protein,vitamins.Make your diet more healthy by incorporating more of fruits,vegetables,complex carbs,low fat proteins and fluids.
*Topical Treatments. If you need to take more immediate action to conceal the dark circles under your eyes, many treatments exist that can be found right in your kitchen. These include:
· Cucumber slices: place them on the eyes to reduce and soothe puffiness
· Potato slices: cover your eyelids with them for 20 minutes to increase circulation around the eyes.
· Tomato juice and lemon juice: a tea spoon or tomato and half a tea spoon of lemon juice and add some flour (enough to make a thick paste). Put the paste around the eyes for 15 minutes and remove thoroughly.
· Pineapple juice and turmeric powder
· Almond oil, crushed mint leaves, and avocado oil: place under the eyes to minimize appearance of dark circles.
· Teabags: soak them in cold water, drain excess water and place over your eyes for 10 minutes.
