I bought the Indian Gooseberry powder and I have the coconut oil, I couldn't find the natural fruit. I want to mix it as a hair strenghtner and to get rid of grays. What ratio of each do I use to get the best results?? Can I boil coconut oil and add gooseberry powder to make it more concentrated?? Thank you.

Yes, but sesame oil is better than coconut oil as sesame oil dyes hair better than coconut oil. 12.5g of dry amla, 50 ml of sesame oil and 200 ml of amla juice boiled to a consistency until the oil looses its moisture completely can be used as a regular hair oil for grey hair.

Apparently unsulphured black strap molasses which is super cheap in the supermarket health food section can reduce grey hair but... over time, 12 months for a marked improvement, I've heard you should take up to 3 tablespoons all up throughout the day. Well worth the effort and patience because as far as I can gather it has many other health benefits, I'll be buying some tomorrow!!! Good luck to all of you.

    Hi Lovaraju

Because of lose or lack of vitamins & minerals which required for hair care is the reason , hormonal changes is another reason.

Rub Indian gooseberry (amla) mixed in coconut oil (boil some dried amla pieces in coconut oil till it turns black) into the scalp regularly. It can show wonderful results.

Use almond oil to hair, use mild shampoo, use herbal shampoo, Eating Sesame (Til) seeds daily and applying its oil regularly helps grey hair to turn black.
Eating Fenugreek (methi) sprouts regularly and applying Fenugreek paste on the scalp an hour before taking bath once in a week helps to overcome grey hair problem.
Eat protein rich foods as well .
    Hope this will help you.
