Muesli is made from toasted or uncooked, rolled whole oats, wheat flakes, fruits and nuts. It comprises of whole grains and is an excellent source of dietary fiber. Depending upon the nuts present in the muesli, it can be protein rich. Muesli has minimal natural sugars from the fruits and no added sugars. Wheat flakes are made from whole wheat corns and contain wheat bran, sugars and flavoring. Both Muesli and Wheat flakes are healthy breakfast foods. Muesli which has added nuts in it is slightly healthier as it provides more proteins and dietary fibers. Eating Muesli everyday can be boring so why not eat wheat flakes for a change for breakfast?
