What's Lethargy?

    The lethargy is feeling of lack of energy or tired or drowsy at times.Depression or stress is the most common cause of it.Other causes includes poor or mal nutrition,high or low BP,thyroid or other adrenal gland disorders, diabetes,lack of sleep,fibromyalgia,anemia etc.Lack of concentration,sleep disturbances,mutiple joint pain,body ache,change in appetite and bowel patterns are the symptoms of lethargy.

    Lethargy can be defines as a state of unconsciousness resembling deep sleep.

    Hi Anu,
    Lethargy is basically laziness, aversion to exercise....mind dullness is not necessarily connected to lethargy, it happens for many reasons one of which is laziness.
    you should just exercise regularly, go for walks in the park or something, don't sit around all day.

    In addition, there will be change in bowel and appetite patterns,difficulty in performing daily routine work,difficulty in concentration,pain in the various parts of the body,difficulty in falling asleep.
