Any kind of exercise requires oxygen. The oxygen converts calories into energy for all your activities. The intensity of the activity determines the amount of oxygen needed. Running needs more oxygen than any other activity. I have read an article, it says you have to maintain a breathing ratio. You should aim for 3/3 ratio – inhale for three steps, exhale for three steps. It is advised to keep your body relaxed and not tense or tight. Maintain the right body posture and breathe right. Follow the breathing ration and enjoy your run. This will definitely help you.
