Dehydration occurs because there is too much water lost, not enough water taken in. Other causes for dehydration are Diarrhea: Diarrhea is the most common reason for a person to loose excess amounts of water,Vomiting: Vomiting can also be a cause of fluid loss, sweat, diabetes ( because in diabetes- frequent urination),Burns -because the damaged skin cannot prevent fluid.

I agree with you Pooja.. Dehydrataion can be caused by a number of reasons. But it should be treated timely. As delay may lead to electrolyte imbalance in the body which can even be fatal. Rehydration is the first and foremost treatment. The patient should be given sips of water with salt and sugar in short intervals. In severe conditions sometimes saline drips have to be given for immediate recovery.

    Hi

Dehydration causes hypotension because there is more lose of water & eletrolytes like sodium & potassium, also temperature varies, reduces the volume of blood. So automatically you feel very tried & weekness this leads to low blood pressure. And there are many other seasons for dehydration.
