Following are health benefits of soyabean.-
*Its the richest source of protein in vegan diet. Its well digested and absorbed by human body.
*It contains antioxidant-polyphenols which protects against degenerative diseases like cancer and cardio vascular disorders.
*It has phytoestrogen,a compound that reduces the post menopausal symptoms.
*It is considered very good for diabetics. The protein present in soyabean helps in increased production of insulin in the body.

I agree with you Akansha..Soya is very good for health. But with all the benefits it has few anti nutritional factors as well which may affect the availability and absorption of many other nutrients present in foods. In order to prevent these the soya beans should be processed in any form to reduce the effect of these anti nutritional factors. These include over night soaking, boiling, germinating or fermenting.
