The tummy tuck operation is a cosmetic procedure that involves reducing the size of the stomach. The surgery is also known as abdominoplasty. This procedure will make the stomach lining more firm and hard. Many celebs and actresses are now opting for this procedure after pregnancy. A complete surgical procedure may take anywhere between one to more than five hours. Full recovery from a surgery like this takes around three to six months. So it makes me wonder whether it is worth going through so much of trouble. Patients cannot smoke at least a month before the surgery as well.

    Hi Deergha,
Yeah Aruna is right. Tummy tuck procedure is a cosmetic surgery done mainly to reduce the tummy . Abdominoplasty also known as "tummy tuck" is a cosmetic surgery procedure used to make the abdomen more firm. The surgery involves the removal of excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen in order to tighten the muscle and fascia of the abdominal wall. This type of surgery is usually sought by patients with loose tissues after pregnancy or individuals with sagging after major weight loss.
