Teenage upper back pain shoulder blades

I'm a teenage upper back pain shoulder blades. What is the problem ?

    It really could be anything but I were to venture a guess then it would be bad sleeping posture. Most of us tend to sleep on our sides and sometimes this can cause neck and back problems. My son used to do this and complain about back pain all the time. Ideally you should sleep with one pillow and lie flat on your back. This is the best sleeping posture. Also if you are an athlete or s sports person then you might have pulled or tweaked a muscle somewhere. Being lazy and over sleeping can also lead to back problem like this.

    Hey Nandita,
    Weather its a teenager or adult, upper back pain can be found in students and people having long time desk job. It can be because of muscle stiffness , inflexible back muscles, weak back muscles, any body organ problem, radiation of some cause any where else. etc. So depending on that you need to cure the cause. Try some stretching and some strengthening exercises for your upper back muscles. If still it persists then you need to consult a doctor.

    It might cause by long sitting hours at school or a bad posture. I suggest on doing some stretching exercises each day to keep your back muscles flexible.

    Well in order to be free from the upper back pain of shoulders you should do regular exercises. This advice was given to me by Dr. Asa Andrews and it helped me a lot. According to Dr. Asa Andrews, morning exercise gives a fresh start to your body and hence helps you in feeling fresh and free from stress.
